FIRST BLOG!!!

One of the requirements in our Web Advertising subject is to make a blog and must have at least 3 post. AH OOH!! It's a bit hard on my part because I'm not unto writing .
While making this blog weeks ago, I realized that this is not just a requirement but it is a learning. After I realized it , I felt so inspired to create and make posts. Now, blogging is one of the learnings that I should be proud of because not all people was given an opportunity to learn it.

Chocolate Hills....

 "I want to go to Bohol because I want to eat all those Chocolate Hills there",this is the statement that I said to my parents when I was still a kid. Every time I remember that statement, I feel so embarassed. I think, I just said that because I am so desperate to go to that wonderful place that I have dreamed of. 

After so many years of waiting,hoping, and dreaming Bohol, finally I have reached it.

It is not a joke to reach at the top just to see the beautiful hills. Walking upstairs is so adventurous if you're afraid of heights like me. While walking up stairs, the wind is so strong that made me shout because of too much nervousness that I feel. Thanks to God that I made to reach at the top.It was all worth it. 

Thank you so much to the U.P professor who treated us to go there. And also, thank you to my parents because they are the one's who informed the professor that is our dream(my sister's dream also) to go there.

ATTEMPT to cook a TART

First,what is a tart???

             According to Wikipedia,a tart is" a baked dish consisting of a filling over a pastry base with an open top not covered with pastry. The pastry is usually shortcrust pastry; the filling may be sweet or savoury , though modern tarts are usually fruit-based."

June 4,2012….. while I’m eating a special cheese tart by BongBong’s bakery I feel curious on how they cooked that. As I continue to eat, I grabbed the packaging of the tart and I took a picture on the ingredients.

As I take a look on the ingredients, I said to myself that cooking cheese tart is very easy. You can find the most of these ingredients  in your kitchen.

June 8, 2012….I tried to cook a cheese tart but with a different set of ingredients.

CHEESE TART with LOVE

These are the ingredients:

Flour                                            

Water                                                                    

Condensed milk

Cheese

Fresh milk/milk

Refined sugar 

Vegetable oil

Salt

Here's the procedure:

(for the dough/crust)

Sift flour and salt into a bowl. Add the vegetable oil and water. Gather the mixture to form a dough. After 5 minutes, roll out. Cut with a knife or a cutter and fit it to the tart shells. Fill with Cheese filling. Bake until the crust is brown.

(for the filling)

Mix the condensed milk, cheese, refined sugar and fresh milk in a hot pan. Stir until the mixture is at the desired consistency. Release from heat.

After minutes and hours of preparing and cooking, this is the product that I produced. I am so happy that I made it even if I discovered the procedure during the cooking process. :)
